Sleek, elegant and incredibly durable, the Project X ultralight board by Jones was put together using some of the most reliable materials and innovative construction technologies. We’re looking at a product sketched out by Jones’ Board Engineer Xavier Niedecker, who used a highly original variation of ULTRA Construction technology and several layers of Fusion Tech and Textreme Carbon.
These elements replaced traditional top sheet/fiberglass solutions that are normally used for these kinds of snowboards. To get into specifics, the edges of the Spoon nose are beveled up for extra float and turn fluidity, while the tail edges offers less catch. As the most advanced and lightest board ever created by Jones, Project X certainly deserves a spot in your snowboarding equipment kit.
