The M-65 field jacket with four pockets was introduced for the first time back in 1965, and plenty of brands have decided to replicate or even improve this model over the years. One of the latest companies to pay some attention to the M-65 jacket is Coldsmoke Co, which is an L.A. based outwear brand.
Featuring event fabric rated at 20K waterproof, the M-65 by Coldsmoke is able to keep its wearer dry even during the most violent rains and snowstorms. Since it was designed to fit just right, the coat shouldn’t really be too lose or too tight, which definitely goes a long way to improving the wearer’s comfort. Other highlights include an adjustable waste, a front wind flap and four front pockets. Available colorways comprise mountain camo, purple, olive and black.
