The gloves feature custom Gel-to-Shell custom-molding shield for the hand, which was intelligently designed to more effectively protect by dispersing impact instead of absorbing it. They were designed to prevent injuries, as any baseball protective gear should, but also help improve performance through a series of features such as the tactile Pittards leather on the palm, which gives a better feel and control of the bat.
