The adidas Florist City Collection for Spring is eye-catching to say the least, but we’re definitely not surprised that the renowned company has managed to pull of something this spectacular. This lively collection includes just two models, each inspired by the beautiful flowers that bloom in Portland and in the State of Illinois during spring.
The models are the D Lillard 2 and the D Rose 6, and they both look outstanding. The D Lillard 2 is affiliated with Portland and its exquisite Rose Festival, which is why it boasts an all-red look. The woven upper features a spectacular rose pattern complemented by deep black contrasts, while the shoe’s upper panels flaunt a special graphic that highlights a droplet effect. Then there are the white metallic Oak Print elements on the lace lock and heel cap, both of which add a daring reflective finish.
As for the D Rose 6, it comes with a detailed representation of a violet, which happens to be state flower of Illinois. The flower is showcased on the upper alongside a series of dark purple and black accents. The eyelets, webbing straps and lace loop feature gold touches, and even the translucent black outsole has a series of gold flecks.
