Jordan Brand is launching a new pair of basketball shoes named Ultra.Fly, which was inspired by Michael Jordan’s “Black Cat” nickname given to him during playoff time. You see, Jordan made a habit out of analyzing the flow of the game during breaks, which allowed him to come up with very good strategies for striking exactly when the time was right.
The Ultra.Fly represents a nod to his nickname, and so it features a Kurim material overlay that also acts as a cage for the shoe in order to provide a flexible custom fit. Moreover, the upper’s design replicates the look of a spotted leopard, which further enhances the overall cat theme.
