The UEFA Euro 2016 is approaching, and the new Nike football kits are ready to be seen by the world. Here’s what England will be wearing this summer.
For the home kit, the players will get white shirts with light blue sleeves starting from the neckline. The really thin white stripes on the sleeves are only visible from up close, and as an extra touch of originality, each sleeve has a word stitched on it, reading “three” and “lions” respectively. The word “England” is similarly written at the back of the collar.
Down the sides of the shirt there is a navy blue stripe which continues seamlessly onto the sides of the white shorts. The Three Lions badge is placed both on the left side of the chest and on the right leg. For a bit of contrast, the socks are bright red.
The away kit follows the exact same design, only in a different colorway. The shirt is red with burgundy sleeves, and the socks are blue. The blue stripe running down the sides of the short and shorts is still there.
